Chris Vesty

Chris trained at Newark College, Yamaha, Kawai, and Bechstein, and, in addition to tuning, is able to install and maintain silent systems. He is also experienced in regulating, voicing, and repairing pianos to meet the needs of discerning musicians and piano owners alike. His extensive training ensures that every piano he works on performs at its best, whether it’s a beloved family instrument or a concert-quality grand.

With years of experience working alongside manufacturers, retailers, and independent piano owners, Chris brings a deep understanding of pianos from a variety of makes and eras. His clients range from professional musicians and recording studios to schools, churches, and private homes.

In addition to tuning and servicing pianos, Chris has been involved in music recordings as a piano technician, ensuring the instruments are perfectly prepared for performances and studio sessions. Laurence Caldecote

Laurence Caldecote is a Piano Technician based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, offering services throughout the local area, as well as Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding regions. 

Born and educated in the Home Counties, Laurence began piano lessons at the age of four. Pursuing his passion for music, Laurence studied at Coventry University, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Music Composition and Professional Practice. He went on to study piano tuning and repairs with Steve Droy at the Piano Technology School, and continues to enhance his skills with additional training courses.

As a qualified Piano Technician, Laurence offers a range of services, including tuning, repairs, and restoration. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to ensuring each instrument performs at its best. His clients include private individuals, educational institutions, and performance venues, all of whom appreciate his professional approach and expertise.

Dan Rendall

Dan covers Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, and surrounding areas, including Lincoln, Newark, and Grantham. A fully qualified piano technician, Dan trained at the renowned Piano School at Newark College, where he gained expertise in tuning, repair, and restoration. Over the years, he has built a loyal client base that includes schools, theatres, professional musicians, and private piano owners, all of whom value his skill and dedication.

Dan’s services cover a wide range of piano needs, from fine-tuning and regular maintenance to complex repairs and full restorations. Whether addressing sticking keys, noisy pedals, or broken strings, he approaches each job with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every piano is restored to its full potential. He also offers French polishing and other specialist services to enhance the appearance and longevity of older instruments.

Joe Austin is a professional Piano Tuner and Technician based in South-East London, offering services throughout all South London boroughs as well as Surrey and Kent.

With over twenty years of experience in the theatre and opera profession, Joe has built an impressive career as a stage director, working at prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera House and Houston Grand Opera. This unique background provided him with a keen ear for pitch and tone, which he now applies to the meticulous craft of piano technology, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern digital tuning technology.

Joe provides a comprehensive range of services, including fine tuning, pitch adjustment, repairs, and regulation. He is dedicated to unlocking each instrument's full potential, ensuring it performs with clarity and beauty.
