Peter Tryon 1954 - 2025

Peter Tryon passed away on Saturday 5 July 2025, aged 71. He was widely respected across East Anglia for his long and distinguished career as an organist, choirmaster and teacher, contributing significantly to the region’s musical life. His work with choirs and churches, including his leadership roles highlighted in public tributes and local reporting, reflected his commitment to musical excellence.

I had the privilege of knowing Peter for several years, and was happy to be able to assist and fill in when he was unable to tune a piano due to holiday or illness.
